Rachel Strauss has been an executive in the health insurance/healthcare world for more than two decades. With EHIM, Inc., as employee #11, she helped grow the organization from a regional pharmacy benefit manager to one of the top 20 in the country. An awarded top sales executive for more than 10 years while in a sales role, Rachel grew to oversee strategic development and partnerships through the power of thoughtful connection and synergies.
Today, as Vice President of Strategic Development for EHIM,
now powered by ProCare, Rachel has an in-depth understanding about the group health market and has navigated through many waters. Rachel holds close relationships with some of the country’s largest third-party administrators and most respected consulting firms and innovative think tanks like Health Rosetta.
Rachel has been considered an expert in healthcare from the
payer side, and she has been invited to speak at nearly 100 various engagements, ranging in topics from pharmacy benefits to leadership, women in business philanthropy, and healthcare.
Rachel also gives back her expertise, as she has sat on nonprofit boards for 15 years, including sitting at the help as president of the board. Her philanthropic experience has given her large fundraising bandwidth, ands her network includes many foundation chairs, PE executives, and other high-net wealth individuals.
Rachel’s superpower has always been the power of connection – and through her networks she aims each day to bring people together to make the world that much better of a place through philanthropy and supporting access to healthcare.
